Education Authority IT Support Scheme

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The Education Authority (EA) have informed the school that there MAY BE elements of ICT support available to pupils who meet certain criteria. The selection criteria, administration of this scheme and final decision on whether a pupil is entitled to support, lies entirely with the Education Authority and NOT with the school.

The supports available are limited, therefore the EA have asked the school to gather the relevant information as soon as possible. To that end, we ask you to please complete the form below for each pupil in your household who meets AT LEAST ONE of the criteria listed. Please note the criteria ARE NOT in order of priority.

1. Is CURRENTLY in receipt of Free School Meal Entitlement (FSME);
2. Is a pupil in P4/R4 or P7/R7;
3. Is currently on the Register of Special Educational Needs (SEN Register); and/or
4. Is considered 'vulnerable' as defined by the Children (NI) Order 1995 as detailed here

If you feel that your son(s) or daughter(s) currently enrolled at this school meet any of the criteria above, then please complete the attached form below. As part of the certification process, the Education Authority may seek additional evidence from parents regarding the answers provided.

This form will close on Friday 15th January at 12 noon and all responses will be treated with the strictest of confidentiality.
