The girls and boys of Mr Lavelle’s class had a great day participating in the CNIP Basketball Blitz in the Raquet Centre in Lisburn.
The girls had a competitive group beating Loughview 14-4, St. Colman’s 12-6 and losing to Belvoir 14-20 in their thrilling last game.
That saw them progress to the final with a rematch against Belvoir. They were absolutely fantastic and avenged their defeat with a high scoring final win 14-4. Congratulations
The boys also played Loughview in their first game losing 10-6, a second match win 12-6 against St Colman’s and third game win 8-4 against Belvoir meant they also reached the final.
Unfortunately they were unable to match our girls' performance despite battling hard, some poor shooting compared to their sharp shooters, resulted in a loss 14-2.

The children were delighted with their play and represented themselves and the school with great pride.
